A Chilean/Australian, Celesté grew up by the water, kayaking, snorkelling and bushwalking her home, Tasmania.
Raised by an artist and single mum on trips to the farm, films by the fireplace and stories in tents, Celesté spent most of her time outdoors barefoot and covered in bruises.
Balancing her love for soccer, futsal and cross country running with the arts, Celesté’s stories into her mum’s tape recorder turned into performing in plays, singing around the house into musical theatre, and rewinding her favourite films into creating shorts with her friends.
In 2023 Celesté was featured in NIDA’s festival of emerging artists.
At her happiest filming with friends and spending time by the ocean, Celesté looks forward to sharing stories that shape her career in the arts.
