Benjamin Parkins

Benjamin is a former student of the NIDA props course, having graduated in 2015. Since then, he has worked in a full-time capacity in various workshops specialising in props, costume and model making, as well as set-building for film, television and events.

In his capacity as workshop coordinator, Ben manages the upkeep and ordering of tools, machinery and materials. He also takes students across machinery usage and a variety of fabrication techniques, including the use of workshop machinery, 3D printing and laser cutting, in technical demonstrations.
