Martha Latham

About Martha

Martha Latham has an extensive background in several areas. Starting her theatrical career as an actor, Martha featured on a variety of Australian series and TVCs, including Backyard Science and Wicked Love: The Maria Korp Story.

After training under Fiona Finley at The Drama Studio, Martha found work in administration at Merrigong Theatre Company, working as Front of House Manager, Education Coordinator, Artistic Associate and Program Coordinator. Martha also worked for Fiona as a teacher, assistant director and stage manager. During this time, Martha was also completing her bachelor’s degree with majors in science, technology studies and Mandarin. After completing this degree Martha went to study at Wuhan University in China, and teach Shakespeare to primary school students within the city. Upon her return, Martha teamed up with Wollongong artist Sam Lovell and co-directed her first show, Slacktivism, for the Sydney Fringe Festival.
