Cameron was born in Durban, South Africa. It was through his childhood years spent in South Africa that he fell in love with film and television and used it as an escape from his surroundings. He eventually moved to Perth, Western Australia with his family where he spent the following years adjusting to the changes of being in a new country and beginning a new life with his family.
His love for acting and film never wavered, it only intensified; taking a few weekend acting workshops here and there until he finally decided that acting was what he wanted to do with his life. He hopes to inspire people from all over the world (especially those back home in Africa) with his performances and to push for more representation and diverse storytelling on screen and stage.
