About Alison
Alison is a writer for theatre and screen with a background in acting, clowning and collaborative theatre making. In 2024, she will premiere a new collaboration, The Cardinal Rules, at Merrigong Theatre Company before a tour to Mente de Cão, Portugal.
She founded Hurrah Hurrah in 2014 for which she has co-written and produced the new works TRADE, Roomba Nation & Introducing Aunty Jude as well as The Seagull (Anton Chekhov) and Frenzy for Two (Eugene Ionesco). She has completed commissions for The Sydney Opera House (Alien Invasion, Lego Play & Motion Capture Music Videos) and the Sydney Museum (T Rex Autopsy with the National Geographic). She collaborated with Art Bomb on Fluffy for the 2022 Sydney Festival, Sydney Opera House/Spiral Japan on Join the Dots 2018.
