As I walk through the halls of NIDA, constantly finding hidden rooms full of magic-makers, I reflect on all that the institute has achieved and all that is to come.

NIDA has grown exponentially in the last five years. We are blessed with magnificent facilities, advanced technology, very strong industry relationships and extraordinary alumni including: Miranda Tapsell, Jessica Marais, Sarah Snook, Josh McConville, Judy Davis and Mel Gibson.

We are an artistic hub in a building that has the capacity to house and empower the doers, the makers, the dreamers, the innovators and the creators all in one space.

Our future lies in activating our spaces to maximum capacity so that our building is literally bursting with creativity.

The children who join us for NIDA Open courses thrive in an environment that enhances play and embraces creativity.

The business people who join us for NIDA Corporate training thrive in an environment that fosters storytelling and empowers presenters.

We turn 60 next year, and will have much to celebrate. NIDA is a world leader in practice-led performing arts education. We drive collaboration between art and enterprise to promote creativity and cultural vitality in our society.
