NIDA is now accepting applications for their prestigious full-time tertiary courses, offering the opportunity to train with the best in theatre, television and film.

Head of Acting, Jeff Janisheski said this was the chance for passionate and aspiring artists to launch their creative careers.

“Every year we hold auditions and interviews across the country and are always impressed by the creative talent found in Australia.

“NIDA is looking for applicants who demonstrate skill, passion and commitment, and we never know where we might discover a future student and that is what makes auditioning for NIDA an exciting experience for all involved.”

Entry to NIDA’s courses is highly competitive. NIDA’s internationally renowned, elite education and training model ensures each student has an immersive, challenging and collaborative learning experience.

Director/CEO of NIDA, Lynne Williams says there are a range of study options on offer in 2015, including graduate Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees in directing and writing for performance and new undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in acting, design for performance, costume, properties and objects, staging and technical theatre. In 2015, in response to huge demand, NIDA is also introducing a full-time Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma in Musical Theatre.
