About Morgan
Morgan is an emerging technical designer and manager for theatre and film. He has a particular fascination for integrated-media live performance, combining passions for storytelling and technology to collaborate on distinctive and innovative works. His skills span the fields of lighting, video for performance, filmmaking, photography and
graphic design.
Growing up in Adelaide, Morgan’s artistic journey began in primary school with learning musical instruments and performing in various bands. He soon realised that he was far more interested in leading what was going on behind the scenes than being onstage and developed a passion for film making before discovering design and management for theatre.
Throughout his time at NIDA, Morgan has enjoyed the opportunity to expand his skills through a variety of projects and explore new realms such as interactive and transmedia storytelling. Particular highlights include stage managing for international guest director Robert Schuster and his work collaborating on the Festival of Emerging Artists.
