About Alice

Alice is a producer and project manager who has worked in the arts industry for almost a decade where she has established herself in the fields of contemporary music and arts management.

Originally from Perth, Alice started her career organising the Australian tours for contemporary international artists such as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bon Iver and Arcade Fire. Alice was previously elected to the boards of Arts Radio Ltd and Propel Youth Arts WA, and has served as a peer assessor for the Australia Council for the Arts and the WA Department of Culture and the Arts.
Migrating to Tasmania, Alice worked for the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) as venue manager for the Odeon Theatre and a project manager for Dark Mofo, where she worked across a vast artistic program from music to contemporary art.
An enduring love of music has led Alice to Sydney, where she currently works as the Associate Producer of Contemporary Music at the Sydney Opera House. Her Master’s research paper on the leadership styles of Executive Directors at some of Australia’s major performing arts festivals was presented at the 15th International Conference on Arts and Cultural Management in Venice last year.
