Adam Lyon

Adam is Melbourne/Bendigo based vocal coach, composer and performer.

Originally training as an Opera Singer at the VCA (BFA Performance), Adam went onto to star in Global Creatures King Kong Live on Stage at the Regent Theatre in the world premiere. In addition to his other stage credits, he has also worked as a composer with one of his major works being NED a New Australian Musical, which had its world premiere at the Ulumbarra Theatre in 2015.

Adam has 22 years of experience as a vocal coach, working with both the sung and spoken voice and his students can be found regularly in professional productions around the country and on high rotation on triple j.

Since undertaking his MFA Voice at NIDA, Adam has been involved as voice support with many in house NIDA productions and had the chance to observe and work alongside some of Australia’s greatest creative talent, priming him for the next set in his career.
