About Braydon
A country kid born in the small town of Goulburn, Braydon is passionate about acting as an artform and a craft and believes in giving true and honest depth to difficult characters and stories.
In 2017 Braydon graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Performance, playing the role of Hamlet for his graduating performance.
Braydon is particularly passionate about Shakespeare – during his time at NIDA he has played Shylock in The Merchant of Venice and King Polixinese in The Winter’s Tale.
At NIDA, Braydon has developed a love for screen acting. He believes deeply in the intersection of technology and drama as a method of storytelling, and that screen is the perfect amalgamation of that.
Braydon also has an interest in writing – a verbose vocabulary and firm grasp of conversational dynamics and contemporary vernacular allow him to craft engaging scenes with realistic dialogue, as well as highly detailed settings, environments and worlds.
Braydon’s philosophy is to meld an easy-going nature with a “go get ‘em” attitude. He is passionate about what he does and the stories he is lucky enough to tell.
