About Jordan
Jordan is a multidisciplinary maker that crafts sound and video design for bespoke and nuanced works. He is also a stage manager and aspiring floor manager for dance, opera and broadcast. Pulling upon 14 years of training as a classical ballet and contemporary dancer, Jordan is influenced by his practices that inform his creative storytelling toolkit.
Jordan was raised in Port Macquarie NSW where he was introduced to technical production whilst studying on a performing arts scholarship. Following an injury at 15, he began choreographing and creating works that examined the relationship of dance and technology through film and theatre. He later was accepted into the NIDA Actors Studio and worked as a
freelance actor and voiceover artist before honing in on live production.
Jordan hopes to freelance as a sound and video designer between contracts of stage management with aim to eventually specialize in audio journalism and immersive theatre.
