About Chris
Chris is an emerging Lighting and Video Designer with experience in small to large scale lighting and video systems, and production management. As an artist, Chris is interested in new Australian plays that challenge audiences and question the world around us. In his time at NIDA, Chris has worked as a Production Stage Manager for the 2022 Festival of Emerging Artists, and the June 2023 production of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street where he championed new ways of thinking about sustainable theatre making, and tracking theatre’s impact on the environment. Whilst at NIDA, Chris has also established himself in the industry working as a Lighting Designer, Programmer and Production Electrician across all forms of theatre from small independent shows to large scale commercial productions.
