Belinda Hoare has a Master of Arts in Theatre Practices from Rose Bruford College and trained in radio broadcasting at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
As an actor, Belinda has worked with Monkey Baa Theatre, Sport for Jove, Bell Shakespeare, and independent theatre companies in Sydney, London and Denmark. As a voice artist, she has worked for ABC and SBS radio where she was the Training and Editorial Standards Manager.
As an arts educator, Belinda lectured and tutored at Rose Bruford College and Notre Dame University in Contextual Theatre Studies. She has toured extensively delivering primary, secondary and tertiary practice-based workshops for Bell Shakespeare and Monkey Baa Theatre.
She was part of the inaugural Bell Shakespeare Players and directed the Players in ‘Double Trouble’ for a national tour of primary schools. While working for Bell Shakespeare and Monkey Baa Belinda was involved in developing theatre programs in remote communities.
