Jemima Owen

A dedicated and passionate stage manager, Jemima launched her career in community theatre in the Lismore, NSW, with her first paid role as ASM on Flow with Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA).

During her tenure at NIDA, Jemima had the privilege of collaborating with respected directors like Ong Keng Sen, Carissa Licciardello and Dr Ben Schostakowski, which developed and enriched her skills as a calling and assistant stage manager. Her portfolio boasts of successful PSM roles in Frankenstein, Ephemera, and 21 Chump St.

Jemima’s ultimate aspiration is to stage manage Les Misérables in Australia or the West End.

She wants to explore as wide a variety of live performance as possible, to learn as many methods and from as many sources as possible. Despite being a newcomer to the Sydney theatre scene, Jemima is brimming with enthusiasm and unwavering determination to become a top-tier stage manager in the future.
