Elle Fitzgerald is a designer who pursues the highest outcomes a script entails, elevating her projects into a conceptual world tethered to practical sensibilities. She brings a multidisciplinary dynamism, enthusiasm and collaborative attitude suited to facilitating new, experimental work that pushes boundaries in theoretical and technical spheres.
Elle’s portfolio at NIDA combines worldbuilding opportunities in film with the storytelling capacities of theatre. She made digital landscapes a physical reality as Set and Costume Designer for SEEN in the 2023 Festival of Emerging Artists. Elle pushed barriers between theatre and cinematic experiences as Set Designer for Alice: Mother of Cinema in 2024. She maintains an ongoing love affair with designing for music: live performance, festivals, and in video formats.
Elle was honoured to receive 2024 LOWES Menswear Scholarship which sponsors emerging artists and intends to pursue production design for film at home and internationally.
