Home Profile Lilian Alejandra Valverde

Lilian Alejandra Valverde

Raised in an Argentinian and Colombian household nestled in the bushy Perth Hills, Lilian had a warm and vibrant childhood full of trees and Spanglish. As a kid she enjoyed day dreaming about outfits, walking her gorgeous dog Ollie and practicing her flute as loudly as possible to match the salsa music that poured out of her dad’s shed.

Passion for performance and love for acting has always lived strongly in Lilian and this led her to spend her teen years at Marloo Community Theatre. Like all the cool kids! Her on stage debut was as Wolf No.5 in the Jungle Book, quickly jumping straight into Juliet Capulet in Romeo and Juliet… and hasn’t looked back since.

After many enriching experiences at the local community theatre and surrounding high schools, Lilian gained a place in the Diploma of Acting course at WAAPA where she reprised Juliet and played Catherine Carbone from A View From The Bridge. Upon completion, she gained a place at NIDA, and is incredibly excited to see where she goes next!
