Georgia-Paige Theodos

A princess of theatrics in the family home, her penchant for drama was stimulated by two passionate parents who adored her, but not so much each other. That, plus being hauled around the world as a child instilled in her a sense of emotional awareness that influenced her artistry even before she knew it.

As a granddaughter to Greek migrants, she was gifted another layer of cultural exposure (as well as the secrets to the perfect Rizogalo). She grew up listening to stories upon (mythical) stories told, or rather performed, by her grandfather which evolved her into a teller of her own stories.  As a young adult, she developed an understanding of love and tragedy, and a deep desire for adventure and escapism, and fled overseas. To Berlin to live as an artist, to Greece to investigate her notorious ancestry and to London to attend the Young Actor’s Theatre.

Georgia-Paige’s acceptance into NIDA unearthed her knack for improvisation, accents and physical theatre. She continues to allow her experiences and emotions to inform her art. Her study of German and Japanese underlies her love of linguistics. Her aptness for hiphop dancing, choreography and tendency to pick up iron weights and put them down again manifests in a strong physical component to her theatre – a space she is deeply keen to develop.
